Western Carolinas Futurity and the All-Star Stallion Auction

WCAHA has come off another very good year, thanks to the tireless work of its members in a multitude of ventures, and the success of its two class A shows and Stallion Auction. In fact, the Auction generated the greatest revenue in its history--$27,875! The Futurity program itself numbered 95 nominations and re-nominations—also the greatest number ever. We have a vibrant program and a loyal stallion owner base, without which our program would not be so successful.

The 29 weanlings and yearlings that were shown in November rewarded their owners with very respectable payouts after expenses in eight classes—funded by auction proceeds, nominations and re-noms, plus entry fees. Your upcoming foals could potentially do so as well.

We encourage you to participate in Western Carolinas’ Futurity program to share in the fun and perhaps monetarily! If you have bred a mare in 2011, don’t forget to nominate her unborn foal by December 31st. If you have a weanling that you nominated last year, don’t forget to re-nominate it by Dec. 31, 2011, to show in November 2012. And if you plan to breed a mare in 2012, you need to check out the incredible list of stallions in WCAHA’s upcoming 2012 All-Star Futurity Stallion Auction. (Complete rules and regulations, plus forms including mare nomination form can be found on the website within the Futurity/Stallion Auction tab.)

THE AUCTION WILL BE OPEN SOON! Check for information at the club’s website, www.wcaha.org. And paying is as easy as the click of a PayPal button.

Thank you for your support throughout the years. Our WCAHA family has fun together, and we continue to grow our club, and in the process, love and promote our Arabian horses.
