Western Carolinas Arabian Horse Club has been BUSY this summer… with more fun activities to come!

And now… scroll down to see what YOUR CLUB has been up to, lately…

  • Western Carolinas again had a presence at the Biltmore Endurance Ride in early May. Club President Sarah Hendricks was in attendance and assisted management with the weekend’s activities.
  • Your club helped sponsor an Endurance ride held at Martha Lucas’ Whitehaven Plantation in late May, by purchasing screen-printed T-Shirts with the club logo on them for ride participants. Martha is a long-time WCAHA club member, and has shown her horses frequently at our shows in Clemson, and in the Futurity classes.
  • WCAHA also sponsored Thursday evening’s activities at the Youth Jamboree, including pizza and a variety of games including “pin-the-number on the correct body part” of a skeleton horse, bowling, and kiddie basketball.

  • A final note: If you have an Arabian horse out in your barn or pasture that you’ve been meaning to get registered, here’s your chance! Click here for details on a Registration Amnesty that AHA is offering through the end of the year…

Western Carolinas has an interest in promoting and supporting the Arabian horse to the public in as many ways and venues as possible. If you have an idea or suggestion on how to do this, don’t hesitate to contact President Sarah Hendricks at sarahkhendricks@eaton.com. We’re all in this for the love of the (Arabian) horse!
