25th Annual Youth Jamboree On The Horizon

Good Day to Everyone,

The wait is over. The 25th Anniversary Edition of the Youth Jamboree is right around the corner. I am excited about this year with so many of you contacting me with anticipation and enthusiasm. Our clinicians are ready to go and the other staff members are eager as well.

Attached are the forms you need for the clinic registration and the shows. *The registration deadline is May 24th.* This year's theme is "Aladdin-A Whole New World (of Horses)" so start planning your stall decorating and costumes. The essay contest topic is "Me & My Horse: Becoming a Team." * The essay deadline is June 1st.* Don't forget about the art and photo contest as well.

I am working on scholarships like we had last year which would cover your stall & bedding costs as well as 3 nights hotel or 5 nights camper. I will let you know about that shortly. I know how helpful the scholarships are.

New this year is a meal reservation form which is included in your clinic forms. We have struggled to provide the right amount of food in the past years and are trying to improve in this area. The meals are still available at no cost for children, parents and trainers. Any financial support is appreciated to help cover these expenses. A sponsorship form is enclosed.

Thank you to AgSouth for providing the Youth Jamboree t-shirts again this year. This is their third year for this generous donation. Other sponsors are coming forward as well. Remember for every $250 of sponsorship funds you raise you receive a free stall.Make sure to turn the funds in upon arrival to receive your credit in the office. Look for our ads in Hoof Beat, Southeast Equine, Modern Arabian Horse and Horse & Pony. A huge thank you to the Garrison Arena for their generous donation of the advertising in all four magazines.

On last note. Our database was compromised after last year's event so I need your help in spreading the word about Jamboree. Please forward to all your friends and fellow horse lovers. Please feel free to post the documents on your FACEBOOK pages and other social media outlets. The more young riders we have the more fun we will have.

As always, if you should questions, comments, suggestions, volunteer, please contact me. My cell is 828-674-1758 and email is rlobermiller@gmail.com.
